The Data Management Centre (DMC) at the PHRU is comprised of the Data Management-, Statistics and IT departments. It provides services for all research projects performed within the Unit, and has recently begun managing data collection for other research organizations.
The DMC is managed and run according to Internationally accepted guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). These SOPs ensure that clinical data is managed according to ICH GCP and FDA guidelines and to ensure the highest quality data at all times.
The DMC is able to provide a spectrum of services for the clinical research environment.
These include:
- SOP development
- Case report form (CRF) development
- Database design and validation
- Edit check programming
- SAS programming
- Reporting
- Tools and applications development for sites
- Centralized data management support
