The Publication Coaching Programme

The Publication Coaching Programme is an internal development intervention. It is aimed at self-motivated aspirant investigators and researchers who have not produced first-author publications before and would like to do so through a formal structured programme. Successful candidates are assigned a coach experienced in publication writing, and attend a year of modules and workshops facilitated by the coaches and invited lecturers. The intended outcome is a publishable manuscript.

This is a valuable opportunity for one-on-one attention, personal development, networking, career advancement and provides the platform for the succession of scientific writing skills at PHRU.

At the launch on 11/11/11, Professor Glenda Gray congratulated the following PHRU staff members who were chosen after a round of applications for acceptance into the 2012 programme:
